"The Polotics of Suffering" By Peter Sutton (MUP) a very disturbing but highly informative book on our policy on Aboriginal welfare since the 70's. Every Australian should read this book!

"A Long Way East of Eden" by Pete Lowman (Patternoster) A theol. cultural and philosophical analysis of the results in Western culture of the rejection or loss of belief in God. 4 stars.

"Why you think the way you do" by Glen Sunshine (Zondervan) A quick intro to world view thinking with the story of Western world views from Rome to today, not too heavy but insightful and useful. 3 stars. 

"Faith and Culture" by Kullberg and Arrington (Zondervan) A series of short readings for daily reflection arranged arround topics of Theology, History, Philosophy, Art, Science, Literature, Contemporary culture.  Could also be used in a small group for discussion topics. Some great illustrations for sermons also! 3 stars.
