"A Long Way East of Eden" by Pete Lowman (Patternoster) A theol. cultural and philosophical analysis of the results in Western culture of the rejection or loss of belief in God. 4 stars. |
"Why you think the way you do" by Glen Sunshine (Zondervan) A quick intro to world view thinking with the story of Western world views from Rome to today, not too heavy but insightful and useful. 3 stars. |
"Faith and Culture" by Kullberg and Arrington (Zondervan) A series of short readings for daily reflection arranged arround topics of Theology, History, Philosophy, Art, Science, Literature, Contemporary culture. Could also be used in a small group for discussion topics. Some great illustrations for sermons also! 3 stars. |
