Recruiting for Executive Director : Arrow Leadership Australia
Arrow Leadership Australia (Arrow) invites applications for the position of Executive Director to lead the Organisation commencing in the first quarter of 2012.
Position Outcome Statement - Executive Director
Arrow's vision is to be the preeminent Christian leadership development organisation in Australia. Until recently Arrow has been exclusively focussed on the development of Christian leaders in vocational ministry. Arrow is now in an exciting growth phase and transition as it expands its capability in leadership development from its traditional area of emerging church and parachurch leadership to include a new Alumni program and also to now add a development program for Christian leaders in marketplace vocations.
To this end Arrow is developing an Arrow Executive Program, (marketplace leadership program). The program encourages young professionals to see the calling in their work, and to see their work transform to vocation, as they step up to become transformational leaders, echoing the example of the Arrow graduates in vocational ministry.
Given Arrow's planned expansion in its activities it has recognised the need to appoint an Executive Director who will lead the organisation and the larger leadership team and the fundraising and communication activities required. The Executive Director will work collaboratively and cooperatively with the Board and Program Director to design, develop and implement the strategic direction, vision and priorities of Arrow Australia. The Executive Director will be accountable to the Board and will report on operational and strategic outcomes and performance on a regular basis.
The specific requirements of the role of Executive Director are to foster and grow Arrow's reputation and brand, to effectively lead its operations, to attract and maintain strategic and key donor/funding relationships, to ensure effective operational and financial management and sustainability, and achieve successful outcomes in the Executive, Leadership and Alumni Programs.
The Executive Director will exercise all aspects of the role from a Christian framework, promoting positive Christian values. Additionally, the Executive Director will be a role model for the organisation's core values as defined in Arrow's Core Values Statement.
Applications close December 31st, 2011.
